Stray Kids is giving fans another way to experience its upcoming Tokyo Dome shows, with live cinema screenings confirmed for two November concerts.
Sony Music Japan announced Oct. 7 that the group’s Stray Kids World Tour <RUN IT JAPAN> performances on Nov. 7 and 8 will be broadcast live to participating movie theaters across Japan. Fans who can’t attend in person will be able to watch on the big screen in real time, alongside fellow members of STAY, the group’s fan community.
The Nov. 7 screening begins at 5 p.m. Japan Standard Time, and the Nov. 8 screening begins at 4:30 p.m. JST.
Tickets cost 4,500 yen including tax, though additional fees may apply depending on the ticketing platform. Each ticket comes with one original Stray Kids sticker, randomly selected from eight designs.
Sony Music Japan has directed fans to the official live-viewing website for participating theaters, ticket sales and attendance guidelines. Theater opening times may vary by location.
The screenings are confirmed only for cinemas in Japan. The announcement does not mention an international livestream or a worldwide theatrical release.
Stray Kids will play Tokyo Dome for three consecutive nights, from Nov. 6 through Nov. 8. The Tokyo Dome dates were added after strong ticket demand for earlier shows on the tour. The live viewings cover only the Nov. 7 and 8 concerts. The Nov. 6 show is not part of the announced screening schedule.
The Tokyo Dome run caps a Japanese tour that also includes stadium and dome concerts in Nagoya, Osaka and Fukuoka. Japan is one of the group’s most important markets, built on local releases, regular concert appearances and ongoing promotion there.
Live cinema broadcasts have become a common way for K-pop acts to extend the reach of major concerts. With demand for tickets far outstripping venue capacity, the screenings give more fans a chance to see the Tokyo Dome shows as they happen.
