On October 8, Yoo Seung Ho’s agency, 333 Entertainment, confirmed the breakup in a phone interview with Dispatch, stating, “The two actors were previously in a romantic relationship, but they have now broken up. They remain on good terms as colleagues.”
Earlier that morning, reports emerged claiming that Yoo Seung Ho and Im Se Joo had been dating for six years, beginning in 2020. However, it has now been confirmed that the two are no longer romantically involved.

The former couple first met while working on the 2020 tvN drama Memorist. Yoo Seung Ho played Dong Baek, a detective with supernatural abilities, while Im Se Joo portrayed Lee Seul Bi, a communications officer working in the police situation room.
Meanwhile, Yoo Seung Ho made his acting debut in the 2000 drama Daddy Fish. He went on to build an impressive career through projects including the film The Way Home and dramas such as Warrior Baek Dong Soo, Master of Study, My Strange Hero, and Moonshine.
Im Se Joo debuted as a singer in 2011 under the stage name Heora before expanding her career into acting. She has since appeared in dramas including My Golden Life, My Only One, Maestra: Strings of Truth, and A Killer Paradox.
