A 33-year-old K-Pop star has confessed to undergoing hair transplant surgery, surprising viewers and netizens.
On October 1st, the YouTube channel Jo Hyun Ah’s Common Thursday Night uploaded a video featuring singer Roy Kim.
In the video, Jo Hyun Ah reminisced about their friendship, saying, “Roy and I used to drink a lot back in the day. We hung out a lot when we were younger, when you used to wear a headband,” recalling their connection from 12 years ago.
Then, Jo Hyun Ah closely looked at Roy Kim’s hairline and trailed off, saying, “Your forehead is a bit…” When Roy Kim reacted sharply, asking, “You mean it’s receding?” Jo Hyun Ah responded, “No, did you get a transplant?”
Roy Kim admitted, “It’s been quite a while,” confirming the hair transplant. However, he awkwardly covered his forehead with his hand, saying, “Is it that noticeable? I thought it looked natural.” Jo Hyun Ah reassured him, “No, it looks good. It was a good job.”
He also shared his usual self-care routines. Roy Kim explained, “I do Pilates and, of course, personal training. These days, I go to the sauna near my home to sweat it all out and then soak in the hot bath.”
