Tomorrow X Together is lining up a major November, with a new album arriving immediately after the group opens its next world tour in Seoul.
TXT will release its ninth EP, Perfect Storm, on Nov. 16, BIGHIT MUSIC announced on Sept. 28. The project will contain six tracks, with additional details about the songs expected to be revealed as the comeback rollout continues.
The release comes one day after TXT completes a three-night run at Seoul’s KSPO Dome on Nov. 13, 14 and 15. Those concerts will launch the group’s fifth world tour, Steal the Wind.
The timing puts two major TXT events into the same four-day stretch: the opening concerts begin Friday, the Seoul run concludes Sunday and Perfect Storm arrives Monday.
TXT’s New EP Follows the Seoul Tour Opening
The close scheduling naturally raises questions about whether material from Perfect Storm could surface during the Seoul concerts.
For now, however, the announced album date should not be treated as a setlist reveal. BIGHIT MUSIC has not confirmed which songs from the upcoming EP, if any, will be performed before the record is officially released.
The company has also yet to reveal the full tracklist, lead single, featured artists or individual songwriting credits for the six-song project.
That leaves the confirmed connection between Perfect Storm and Steal the Wind primarily in their timing — and in the weather imagery shared by the two titles.
The tour and album remain separate projects. Steal the Wind is the name of TXT’s fifth world tour, while Perfect Storm is the group’s forthcoming ninth EP.
Perfect Storm follows TXT’s eighth Korean-language EP, 7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns, which arrived in April.
‘Perfect Storm’ Continues TXT’s Album Storytelling
The new release adds another chapter to a catalog that has frequently used interconnected titles, concepts and recurring imagery.
TXT — consisting of Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Hueningkai — debuted in 2019 with The Dream Chapter: Star. The five-track EP included “Crown” and introduced the coming-of-age themes that would continue across subsequent releases.
The group expanded that narrative with The Dream Chapter: Magic and The Dream Chapter: Eternity. BIGHIT’s official discography describes Eternity as following the earlier Dream Chapter releases while exploring friendship, conflict and the hope of remaining together. “Maze in the Mirror” was also identified as the first song written by all five TXT members.
Those earlier releases established a pattern of framing albums as parts of broader stories rather than isolated projects, giving longtime listeners another reason to watch how Perfect Storm fits into TXT’s evolving discography.
The November comeback also arrives after all five members renewed their contracts with BIGHIT MUSIC in 2025. The agency announced in August of that year that Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Hueningkai had each signed new agreements.
For now, attention turns to the remaining Perfect Storm rollout.
The six-track format is confirmed, but listeners will have to wait for the official tracklist and other promotional material for details about the EP’s sound, title track and credits.
What is already clear is the schedule: TXT opens Steal the Wind in Seoul on Nov. 13, performs through Nov. 15 and releases Perfect Storm on Nov. 16.
