On September 30, Chaeyoung was chatting with fans through a fan communication platform when she responded to a message mentioning her tattoos.
One user left a message suggesting that Chaeyoung’s mother must have felt upset seeing her “pretty daughter cover her body with ugly tattoos and scribbles.” Chaeyoung responded, “I went with my mom to get my first tattoo,” revealing that her mother had accompanied her when she got her first tattoo.

Another user reacted to the offensive message, saying, “You really shouldn’t even reply to people like that. Why on earth would someone say something like this?” Chaeyoung explained, “I replied because I wanted them to feel embarrassed.”
Chaeyoung went on to reveal that she had encountered similar comments many times before, adding, “It’s okay. I’ve heard things like that so many times now that they don’t bother me anymore.”

Previously, Chaeyoung personally addressed allegations of indoor smoking that emerged in August. At the time, she explained through a fan platform that the footage in question showed her drinking a beverage rather than smoking, denying the speculation.
Also in August, Chaeyoung announced that she would leave JYP Entertainment to officially pursue activities through her independent music project, LIL FANTASY. However, she made it clear that she would continue participating in TWICE’s group activities.

Born in 1999, Chaeyoung made her debut as a member of TWICE in 2015 and rose to widespread fame with the group. She has promoted through numerous hit songs, including “Like OOH-AHH,” “What Is Love?” and “SIGNAL.”
Recently, Chaeyoung has continued communicating with the public while balancing her solo career with her activities as a member of TWICE.
