On September 29, the YouTube channel TEO uploaded a video featuring Kim Ji Won and Lee Jung Eun as guests.
During the conversation, Jang Do Yeon brought up recent news reports about Kim Ji Won’s donation. Looking embarrassed, Kim Ji Won modestly replied, “I was lucky to have an opportunity like that.” Jang Do Yeon jokingly responded, “I think this is the first time I’ve ever heard someone who donated money say they were the lucky one,” drawing laughter. When Kim Ji Won simply said, “That’s how it happened,” Jang Do Yeon teased her, “I think you’ve become even more introverted.” Kim Ji Won immediately protested, “I wasn’t always like this.”
Watching the exchange, Lee Jung Eun pointed at Kim Ji Won’s face and remarked, “Her face is turning red right now.” Jang Do Yeon added, “I think she’s turning rose gold,” adding to the laughter. Kim Ji Won then explained, “Since this is my second time here, I thought I should come feeling more relaxed, and I actually did feel comfortable. But the moment I opened the waiting room door, my heart started beating faster and faster. After a little while, though, I was okay.”
The conversation also turned to stories of Kim Ji Won being spotted in public, with Jang Do Yeon mentioning that the actress has frequently been seen attending concerts. Kim Ji Won agreed, saying, “Recently, I’ve started going out a little more.” When Jang Do Yeon brought up her appearance at a BIGBANG concert, Kim Ji Won explained, “When I was around 19 or 20, I filmed the drama What’s Up. I worked with BIGBANG’s Daesung at the time. We’ve stayed in touch occasionally since then, so thankfully, I was lucky enough to attend.” She continued, “I also went to aespa’s concert. aespa and I go to the same salon, and I was very grateful that they invited me as well.” After hearing her stories, Jang Do Yeon jokingly asked, “If I invite you to my house, will you come too? I can dance for you,” sending everyone into laughter.
Meanwhile, Kim Ji Won will star as Gye Soo Jung in the SBS Friday-Saturday drama Doctor X: Age of the White Mafia, which premieres on October 9.
