On September 9, a press conference for the Netflix series The Scandal was held at the JW Marriott Hotel Dongdaemun in Seoul.
The event was attended by Son Ye Jin, Ji Chang Wook, Nana and director Jung Ji Woo.
Nana, in particular, caught attention during the interview after displaying what viewers praised as an effortless and considerate “girl’s girl” gesture toward Son Ye Jin.
While the interview was underway, Nana noticed that Son Ye Jin’s skirt had ridden up slightly as she sat with her legs crossed. After seemingly thinking for a moment, Nana naturally reached over and gently adjusted the skirt for her senior colleague. She then turned her head back as if nothing had happened and immediately returned her attention to the interview.
Son Ye Jin appeared surprised by Nana’s unexpected gesture, seemingly unaware that her skirt had shifted. She quickly adjusted her outfit herself before thanking Nana for looking out for her.
Nana’s thoughtful yet effortlessly charming gesture has since become a talking point online, with many viewers praising her considerate behavior.
Meanwhile, The Scandal is a Netflix series about Lady Cho, played by Son Ye Jin, a woman whose extraordinary talents make it difficult for her to accept the confined life expected of women in the Joseon era. The story follows her daring and dangerous love wager with Cho Won, played by Ji Chang Wook, Joseon’s most notorious ladies’ man, as well as Hui Yeon, played by Nana, a woman who becomes entangled in their wager.
