Ji Ye Eun, an actress who announced her marriage to dancer Vata, directly addressed rumors of a premarital pregnancy.
On September 12th, SBS Running Man uploaded a preview video titled “Why Ji Ye Eun Decided to Marry Her Fiancé Vata” on their official YouTube channel for episode 820.
In the video, the Running Man members held a celebration party for Ji Ye Eun’s marriage announcement. Ji Ye Eun shared, “I decided to marry Vata and announced our relationship this April.”
She notably said, “People around me said, ‘It’s too soon, too soon,’ and asked if I was pregnant before marriage, but I want to make it clear—I am not pregnant,” drawing attention with her firm denial.
Ji Suk Jin also added, “I can confirm it’s not a premarital pregnancy,” while Ji Ye Eun emphasized, “We don’t have any plans for pregnancy yet. I want to enjoy our newlywed life a bit.”
Regarding the reason for deciding to marry, she explained, “He’s such a warm person. Even when we argue, he speaks kindly. He was a great support when I was sick. That was decisive. I think the person who stands firmly by your side when you’re really sick is the best.” Ji Ye Eun was diagnosed with thyroid cancer last year and underwent surgery and recovery.
Ji Ye Eun will marry Vata on his birthday, December 12.
