Jungkook has found himself at the center of another viral BTS moment, but this time, Justin Bieber has unexpectedly joined the conversation.
The moment came during BTS’ recent Arirang World Tour stop at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. During the performance, J-Hope walked over to Jungkook and drew attention to his unbuttoned shirt. Laughing at the situation, J-Hope opened it further, revealing Jungkook’s toned abs and joking about how special the night was.
According to Star News, the clip quickly spread across social media and eventually caught Billboard’s attention. The music publication shared the performance video on its social channels, where Bieber later reposted it on Instagram.
With Bieber having around 280 million followers, the repost immediately drew plenty of attention. Jungkook himself appeared just as surprised as everyone else when he noticed it. He shared a screenshot of Bieber’s repost on his Instagram Stories, adding only a simple “?!” to the post.
That brief reaction was enough to get BTS fans talking, per Complex.
Jungkook and Justin Bieber’s Long-Standing Connection
Bieber’s unexpected shoutout also revived interest in the connection between the two pop stars. Jungkook has previously covered several of Bieber’s songs, including “Purpose,” “Nothing Like Us,” “2U,” and “10,000 Hours.” More recently, he performed a cover of Bieber’s “Lifetime” on Weverse shortly before his birthday.
The Canadian singer has also shown support for Jungkook in the past. In 2019, Bieber publicly wished the BTS member a happy birthday, writing a playful message on social media that hinted at the reaction it would receive from fans.

Naturally, Bieber’s latest repost has sparked fresh speculation about a possible collaboration. Fans flooded social media with excitement, with some joking about the fact that a video focused on Jungkook’s abs had found its way onto Bieber’s massive Instagram account. Others once again called for the two singers to work together, India reported.
For now, there is no indication that a collaboration is in the works, but the interaction has certainly given fans something to talk about.
Meanwhile, BTS has completed the North American portion of its Arirang World Tour. The group is set to continue with South American dates next month before heading across Asia in November and December. Additional shows in Australia, Hong Kong, and the Philippines are scheduled for next year, bringing the current tour run to a close.
