On the afternoon of September 7, a media showcase for Evan’s first mini album, DEATH OF ME, was held at the Peace Hall of Kyung Hee University in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul.
Heeseung, who debuted as a member of ENHYPEN, announced his departure from the group in March and began his career as a solo artist under the name Evan, drawing significant attention.

Evan said, “Some of you may already know this, but as I continued making music, I spent a lot of time thinking about how I should share my music with you in the future and how I wanted to present it. I shared the work I had been creating with the company and had in-depth discussions with them. After a long period of consideration, I decided to pursue my career as a solo artist.”
He continued, “Thankfully, I was able to successfully complete my debut single promotions, and I felt incredibly grateful and undeserving of all the love I received. Now that I’ve been able to make a successful comeback with my first mini album, DEATH OF ME, it feels especially meaningful.”
He added, “This is a comeback, but it’s also a new beginning. I think I’ll be able to show you many different sides of myself. I want to share many things through my music and continue answering my fans’ questions through the music I make.”
