On August 26, the official Miss Korea social media account shared a video titled “2026 70th Miss Korea Jin Woo Seo-yoon,” featuring highlights of her performance at the competition.
The footage captures Woo Seo-yoon walking confidently on stage in a white T-shirt and black shorts before changing into a figure-hugging white gown. With her long wavy hair and defined features, she commanded attention throughout the event.

Unlike professionally edited profile photos, the official video shows Woo Seo-yoon performing on stage, posing for the judges and receiving the crown after being announced as the winner.
Woo Seo-yoon was crowned 2026 Miss Korea Jin at the 70th Miss Korea pageant, held on August 22 at COEX Auditorium in Gangnam, Seoul. She emerged as the winner among 26 finalists.

Following her victory, old footage of Woo Seo-yoon appearing alongside her father, Woo Ji-won, resurfaced across online communities and social media. Some netizens compared her childhood appearance with her current look and raised speculation about possible plastic surgery. However, others pointed out that her appearance could naturally have changed as she grew older, alongside differences in styling, makeup and photography. Woo Seo-yoon has not publicly confirmed or addressed the plastic surgery speculation.
She previously appeared on television programs as a child, including SBS’ Star Junior Show Bungeoppang and tvN’s Dungsijitalchul 3.

Born in 2003, Woo Seo-yoon is currently studying fine arts at Tufts University in the United States. She is reportedly pursuing a dream of becoming a global art curator. Her height and striking proportions, which resemble those of her father, also attracted attention during the Miss Korea competition.
With her pageant victory now placing her in the spotlight, Woo Seo-yoon is receiving renewed public interest not only for her famous family background but also for her academic pursuits and aspirations beyond the pageant world.
