Connie Ng, once one of Hong Kong’s most sought-after young beauties, has long been at the center of public fascination because of her turbulent marriage to tycoon heir Edwin Kwok.
Born in 1978 into a well-off Hong Kong family, Connie Ng had parents who were both doctors. She entered the entertainment industry at just 15 and quickly attracted attention as a young model thanks to her delicate features and graceful appearance.
At 16, she met Edwin Kwok, the heir to the Wing On Group, which has business interests including tourism, real estate and insurance. The two reportedly fell in love and eventually married in 2000.

However, according to Hong Kong media reports, their relationship eventually deteriorated. Edwin Kwok was allegedly involved in a secret relationship with actress Miki Yeung. The pair were reportedly seeing each other behind Connie Ng’s back for years before her marriage eventually came to an end.
In 2006, Edwin Kwok filed for divorce. Reports at the time claimed that the divorce proceedings also involved disputes over financial support. After several legal proceedings, Edwin Kwok reportedly agreed to pay Connie Ng HK$1.5 million in compensation along with monthly support payments.
Following the divorce, Connie Ng returned to live with her parents. Her family reportedly spent years caring for her and supporting her recovery. Her condition eventually improved, and reports said she regained some weight and became capable of walking independently again. Nevertheless, the physical and emotional damage she suffered during those years reportedly left a lasting impact on her life. Meanwhile, Miki Yeung recently made a rare appearance on social media by sharing photos of her family. On the evening of August 26, the actress posted several pictures featuring herself, Edewin Kwok and their two children during a family trip to her hometown. The family visited a museum, experienced rural life, picked vegetables and enjoyed local specialties.
Now in her 40s, Miki Yeung appeared to be maintaining a healthy figure and youthful appearance. She reportedly withdrew from showbiz after marrying Edwin Kwok and has largely stayed away from the public eye for around a decade.
Her seemingly peaceful family life has once again brought attention to the dramatic history surrounding Edwin Kwok, Connie Ng and Miki Yeung.
