On July 2, Moon Chae Won posted a quote on her social media account that read, “Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck,” noting that it was a Buddhist saying.
Although she did not add any personal message to accompany the post, it quickly drew attention as her first social media update since her wedding, which took place just four days earlier.

Moon Chae Won married her non-celebrity husband in a private ceremony held in Seoul on June 28. Several of her close colleagues attended the event, including Jang Hee Jin, Lee Joon Gi, and Kim Ji Hoon, who worked with her on the drama Flower of Evil.

The actress first announced her marriage plans in April through a handwritten letter to fans. At the time, she wrote that she felt both nervous and excited about starting a family, adding that she also hoped to show fans more diverse sides of herself through future projects.

Afterward, Moon launched her own YouTube channel, where she addressed rumors surrounding her marriage. She firmly denied speculation that her husband was a younger dermatologist, clarifying that the reports were not true.
Moon Chae Won made her acting debut in 2007 with the SBS sitcom Mackerel Run. Throughout her career, she has starred in numerous hit dramas, including Painter of the Wind, Brilliant Legacy, The Innocent Man, Good Doctor, and Flower of Evil. Most recently, she appeared alongside Kwon Sang Woo in the film Heartman: Rock and Love, which premiered in January.
