Actress Moon Chae Won officially begins a new chapter in her life today (June 28) as she ties the knot with her non-celebrity fiancé.
The wedding is being held at a private venue in Seoul, with only immediate family members and close relatives in attendance. The ceremony is taking place behind closed doors to respect the privacy of the couple and their loved ones.
Back in April, Moon Chae Won personally shared the happy news through a handwritten letter posted on her social media account.

In her message, the actress revealed that she would be getting married in June and wanted to personally share the news with the fans who had supported her throughout her career.
“I’m getting married this coming June, and I wanted to tell everyone who has given me so much love and encouragement since my debut,” she wrote. “I feel both nervous and excited as I prepare to build a family and begin this new stage of my life.”
Moon Chae Won also reassured fans that marriage would not mark the end of her acting career. She explained that she hopes to show audiences even more diverse sides of herself in the future and plans to continue pursuing acting projects after her wedding.

Her agency likewise confirmed the marriage, stating that the actress had “met someone truly special” and would be getting married in June. The company also asked fans and the public to send their warm blessings as the couple embarks on their new journey together.
Born in 1986, Moon Chae Won made her acting debut in 2007 through the SBS sitcom Mackerel Run. She went on to establish herself as one of South Korea’s leading actresses with acclaimed dramas including Painter of the Wind, Brilliant Legacy, The Princess’ Man, Good Doctor, Flower of Evil, and Payback: Money and Power. On the big screen, she has also showcased her versatility through films such as War of the Arrows, Love Forecast, and Heartman: Rock and Love, earning recognition for her wide acting range across both television and cinema.
More recently, Moon Chae Won launched her own YouTube channel, where she has been connecting with fans through a more relaxed and personal side of her life.
