Rumors surrounding Chinese actor Chen Xiao have recently resurfaced online, with claims alleging that he once jumped out of a moving car after being subjected to harassment and physical abuse.
According to online speculation, the incident allegedly took place years ago after Chen Xiao finished attending an event. A company executive was reportedly said to have insisted on personally driving the actor home. During the ride, the individual allegedly harassed and physically assaulted Chen Xiao.
The rumor further claims that, despite the danger, Chen Xiao allegedly jumped out of the moving vehicle while traveling on Beijing’s 4th Ring Road in an attempt to escape. As a result, he was said to have suffered an arm injury, with alleged scars reportedly documented in photos kept by his former manager.
Unverified online posts also suggest the incident caused severe psychological trauma, allegedly leading Chen Xiao to disappear from public view for nearly two months. During that period, he was rumored to have missed an important role opportunity in The Palace: The Lock Heart Jade.
Following the alleged incident, rumors claim Chen Xiao terminated his contract with Huayi Brothers and later signed with producer Yu Zheng.
As of now, these allegations remain entirely unverified, and neither Chen Xiao nor the parties mentioned have publicly confirmed or addressed the claims. The story continues to circulate largely through social media discussions and rumor accounts.
