The photocall for the 79th Cannes Film Festival took place on May 15 (local time) at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.
Director Yeon Sang Ho and actors Jun Ji Hyun, Koo Kyo Hwan, Kim Shin Rok, Shin Hyun Been, and Ji Chang Wook walked the red carpet and captured attention from global media.
For Jun Ji Hyun, Koo Kyo Hwan, Ji Chang Wook, Shin Hyun Been, and Kim Shin Rok, this marked their very first appearance on the Cannes red carpet


Shin Hyun Been especially drew praise for her elegant visuals while wearing a beige-colored dress that highlighted her graceful image. She also charmed photographers with a variety of poses that showcased her lovely and sophisticated aura.
The cast attended the festival for the film Colony, which tells the story of isolated survivors trapped inside a building quarantined due to a mysterious infection outbreak.


The movie was officially invited to the Midnight Screening section of the 79th Cannes Film Festival. It also marks another zombie-themed project from director Yeon Sang Ho following Train to Busan (2016) and Peninsula (2020), becoming his fourth project invited to Cannes.
The world premiere screening of Colony is scheduled to take place at the Lumière Theatre at 12:30 AM local time on May 16 (7:30 AM KST), with another official red carpet event set to be held before the screening.
