On April 26, Jungkook took to his personal social media to address the situation, writing, “The ‘Magic Shop’ sound issue yesterday is true. Don’t worry. We’ll fix it starting today.”
He continued by apologizing to fans, saying, “I’m sorry to ARMY who came to the concert yesterday. I’m upset too,” honestly revealing his anger over the incident.

BTS is currently holding their concert “BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN TAMPA” from April 25 to 28 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
However, a technical malfunction occurred on the very first day of the show on April 25. While performing their 2018 track “Magic Shop,” the audio system failed to function properly. As a result, Jungkook’s vocals sounded off-sync, creating the impression that he was missing notes or singing incorrectly.
After finishing the stage, Jungkook addressed the issue directly by re-singing his part live without instrumental backing, delivering a powerful performance that impressed the audience.
This U.S. concert marks BTS’s return to American stages after approximately four years, following their “PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE” concerts in Las Vegas in April 2022.
Local media outlets have also highlighted the group’s impact. FOX 13 Tampa Bay aired a special program titled “K-Pop: The Seoul Reach,” focusing on BTS’s global influence and the spread of Korean culture. Meanwhile, 10 Tampa Bay News reported that the concerts are expected to generate an economic impact of around $800–900 million for the Tampa area.
BTS will continue their North American tour with performances on May 2 and 3 at Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso—marking the first time a Korean artist has held a solo concert at the venue.
