According to OSEN on April 6, Kim Go Eun and Kim Jae Won will appear as special guests on MBC’s radio program 2 O’Clock Date with Ahn Young Mi later that afternoon.
Broadcast insiders revealed that Kim Go Eun and Kim Jae Won, who play the lead roles in the TVING original series Yumi’s Cells 3, are joining the show to promote the upcoming drama. Through the live “visible radio” broadcast, they will interact with listeners in real time, sharing updates about the project as well as their current activities.
Meanwhile, ahead of its April 13 premiere, the TVING original drama Yumi’s Cells 3 unveiled its main poster on March 24, teasing a heart-fluttering romance between star writer Yumi (Kim Go Eun) and her PD Soon Rok (Kim Jae Won). The visual immediately raised anticipation among fans.
Returning after three years, Yumi’s Cells 3 follows Yumi, now a star writer, whose calm and somewhat monotonous life is shaken by the sudden arrival of an unexpected person. The story once again captures her emotional journey laughing, crying, and falling in love through the unique perspective of her “cells.” With Kim Go Eun reprising her iconic role and rising actor Kim Jae Won joining the cast, expectations are running high.

The newly released poster hints strongly at Yumi’s next love. A sparkling, lightning-shaped heart falls between Yumi’s bright smile and Soon Rok’s cool expression, symbolizing a sudden romantic spark. The tagline, “At his lightning-like smile, the sleeping cells awakened,” heightens curiosity about their unpredictable older-woman-younger-man chemistry.
While Yumi has achieved success in her career, she still struggles with love. Meanwhile, Soon Rok, a PD from Julie Publishing, may have a sweet appearance but is known for delivering blunt truths. Viewers are eager to see how their contrasting personalities will awaken each other’s “love cells.”

Soon Rok is expected to soften Yumi’s once-still heart, while Yumi will bring energy into the life of the introverted, homebody-like Soon Rok. Their unexpected connection shakes up both of their inner “cell villages,” promising not only romance but also charming and lively moments from the animated cells that fans love.
The production team shared that although Yumi has found success as a writer, she has been stuck in a dull routine. Her encounter with Soon Rok, a character full of surprising contrasts, will mark a turning point. They encouraged viewers to look forward to Yumi’s growth, her emotional struggles, and the refreshing romance that unfolds between the two.

Yumi’s Cells 3 will premiere on April 13, releasing two episodes every Monday at 6 PM on TVING, while also airing one episode weekly on tvN every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 PM.
