According to multiple online communities, including DC Inside, on April 3, Mirae (미래)—who had been preparing to debut as part of the girl group Swalla—passed away on March 17.

Cheerleader and influencer Kim Hana shared the news through her Instagram, writing, “Mirae unnie, who had been my teammate and roommate for over 10 years, has gone on a very long journey ahead of us, just as lovely and youthful as she always was.”

She continued, “She was someone who loved beautiful and dazzling things, and joy in life. I just hope that the beginning of her new journey is bright and lively, filled with happy memories and the warmth of many people.”
Kim Hana also revealed that she took on the role of chief mourner to accompany the late Yoon Mirae on her final journey, adding, “I hope those who knew her can come and say their final goodbyes.”

Yoon Mirae had prepared to debut in 2019 as part of the girl group Swalla alongside Kim Hana and others. However, the group disbanded just before their official debut, leaving her unable to achieve her dream of becoming a singer. She later transitioned into working as a dancer and continued her career in the field.
Her sudden passing has left many mourning the loss of a young talent whose dreams were never fully realized.
