On April 1, global K-pop platform Mnet Plus announced that Wanna One’s new reality program, WANNA ONE GO: Back to Base, will premiere on April 28.
The group comprising Kang Daniel, Park Jihoon, Lee Daehwi, Kim Jaehwan, Ong Seongwu, Park Woojin, Lai Kuanlin, Yoon Jisung, Hwang Minhyun, Bae Jinyoung, and Ha Sungwoon rose to fame in 2017, making history with their debut at Gocheok Sky Dome, achieving million-seller status, and sweeping both rookie and grand prizes at major award ceremonies.

Even after their project group activities ended, the members continued to build successful individual careers as singers, actors, and entertainers. Their reunion as Wanna One is expected to bring fresh emotions and excitement to their fandom, Wannable.
The teaser video released alongside the announcement features the members in individual meetings. When asked what they would like to do if they reunited, many expressed a desire to film Wanna One Go again a reality show that previously showcased their daily lives, missions, and games during their active years.
The original series was widely loved by fans and continues to gain attention online, with memorable clips frequently shared across social media platforms even after its conclusion.
In addition to the show, Wanna One will hold a surprise fan meeting. On April 6 at 10 a.m., the group will host an “opening ceremony” at DMC Cultural Park in Sangam, Seoul a symbolic location tied to their beginnings where they will meet fans face-to-face.
This offline event has been organized to celebrate the group’s new journey alongside fans after seven years. By returning to a place filled with memories, Wanna One aims to recreate the excitement of their first meeting and officially kick off their comeback.

The production team stated, “Wanna One was more than just a project group they were icons of an era. This new reality show, featuring members who have grown in their respective fields, will be a long-awaited gift for fans.”
WANNA ONE GO: Back to Base will premiere on April 28 at 6 p.m. via Mnet Plus and will also air on Mnet at 8 p.m.
Formed through Produce 101 Season 2, Wanna One debuted on August 7, 2017, as an 11-member project group. Their immense popularity led them to become the first Korean act to debut at Gocheok Sky Dome, and they remained active until January 27, 2019.

In their debut year, they swept rookie awards across major ceremonies, and in 2018, they achieved a major milestone by winning “Record of the Year” at the Melon Music Awards. Their hit song Beautiful also earned “Song of the Year” at the MBC Plus X Genie Music Awards.
After disbanding in 2019, the members pursued individual paths until a special reunion stage at the Mnet Asian Music Awards in 2021, where 10 members reunited (excluding Lai Kuanlin) to perform Beautiful (Part III) and more, reigniting fans’ passion.
Given the long-standing demand for a full reunion, anticipation is now at an all-time high. Fans are eager to see what new stories and chemistry Wanna One will showcase through their upcoming reality program.
