Recently, Yoon Eun Hye uploaded a video titled “When Negative Thoughts Weigh Me Down” on her YouTube channel, where she spent time responding to subscribers’ concerns. She particularly resonated with a fan who shared, “I feel distressed because I keep comparing myself to others whenever I look at social media.”
Yoon Eun Hye admitted, “I’m not completely free from that either,” as she reflected on her past when she was frequently invited to global fashion shows. She confessed, “When I see other people’s glamorous lives on SNS, I sometimes think, ‘I used to go to those brands too,’ or ‘I used to be like that.’” She added, “When those thoughts come, I feel small and as if I no longer have influence, which made me feel depressed.”
However, she revealed that she has since overcome those feelings and developed a new outlook on life. “At some point, I decided not to dwell on past glory,” she said. “There are still many things to be grateful for in my current life, and I’ve learned to enjoy a sense of peace and to love myself in ways I couldn’t before.”

Yoon Eun Hye also drew attention by revealing that she has not purchased luxury goods for the past 10 years. “I don’t think I’ve really bought luxury or expensive items in a decade,” she shared, adding, “That doesn’t make me any less happy or confident. For some people, luxury items may represent happiness, but buying things just to compare with others isn’t the answer.”
She continued with warm advice: “Everyone lives at a different pace and in their own way, so it’s important to focus on yourself. Instead of comparing, I hope people take time to find things in their own lives to be grateful for.”

Yoon Eun Hye first rose to fame as a member of the first-generation idol group Baby V.O.X and later became a top star through hit dramas such as Princess Hours and Coffee Prince. She now continues to actively communicate with the public through YouTube and variety shows.
