SBS has revealed the first lineup of artists set to perform at “Inkigayo ON THE GO,” a new special concert project scheduled for Apr. 26 at Paradise City in Incheon, featuring seven acts: TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT), Xdinary Heroes, &TEAM, NCT WISH, KickFlip, CORTIS, and MODYSSEY.
The lineup, announced on Mar. 25, brings together a mix of globally recognized groups and rising newcomers. The roster ranges from established names like TXT, one of the top fourth-generation K-pop acts, to newer groups such as MODYSSEY, whose members recently appeared on the survival show “Boys II Planet.”
Additional artists are expected to be announced in the coming weeks ahead of the event, according to Soompi.
“Inkigayo ON THE GO” is a new format from SBS that takes the network’s flagship Sunday music program outside its usual studio at the SBS Deungchon-dong Public Hall. The project was first announced on Mar. 23 as a way to bring the show directly to fans in a larger, more open setting where audiences and artists can interact in person.
The event will be held at Paradise City Plaza, a mixed-use complex near Incheon International Airport that combines cultural and commercial spaces. The venue features an indoor-outdoor layout designed to offer viewing experiences that differ from what fans typically see during standard televised music programs.
SBS has described the project as more than just a live performance. The network said the event will combine broadcast television with a live concert format, aiming to deliver what it calls a “multidimensional K-pop experience” for both domestic and international fans, Sports Today reported.
An SBS representative stated, “Inkigayo ON THE GO expands the framework of traditional music shows by going directly to where the fans are and communicating on-site. We plan to continue showcasing K-pop content across diverse spaces and formats.”
The show will air live on SBS on the afternoon of Apr. 26. Attendees at the venue will be able to watch the production process up close and experience the energy of a real broadcast taping.
April is typically a busy period for K-pop comebacks, and organizers have said this year’s spring schedule is expected to bring an especially strong wave of returning artists to the stage.
A second round of lineup announcements is expected sometime in April. Tickets for the event are already available through several international booking platforms, including Trazy and KoreaTravelEasy, as per Nate News.
