In episode 132 of the web variety show Salon Drip by TEO, released on March 24, Park Min Young and Wi Ha Joon appeared as guests.
Park Min Young shared that it had been 20 years since she last appeared on a talk variety show. She explained that she had avoided such programs in the past out of concern that if viewers saw her real personality, it might make it harder for them to immerse themselves in her acting roles. However, she added that changing circumstances led her to finally take on the appearance.
When host Jang Do Yeon asked, “What is the real Park Min Young like?” the actress responded by asking, “What did you think?” Jang Do Yeon replied, “You’ve done many projects, but your debut left a strong impression. High Kick! and Sungkyunkwan Scandal were very impactful. Even though you played a student, you had a strong aura.”
Jang Do Yeon continued, “You seem sharp and put-together. What about your real personality?” Park Min Young answered, “Not at all,” while Wi Ha Joon added, “She’s quirky, a bit four-dimensional, and cute.” Park Min Young explained, “I’m usually far from being a perfectionist, but when I work, I become one—and then I relax again afterward.”
When Jang Do Yeon mentioned she watched the drama “Siren’s Kiss” live, Park Min Young joked, “You watched Siren’s Kiss instead of baseball yesterday? Thank you,” before confessing that she herself watched the drama on TV while simultaneously following a baseball game on her phone, drawing laughter.
Noticing her playful behavior, Jang Do Yeon commented, “You seem to have sparkling eyes,” to which Park Min Young replied, “I hear that a lot.” Wi Ha Joon also chimed in, “She’s really funny,” highlighting her unexpected charm.
