The court denied their request.
ADOR has hit a setback in its ongoing lawsuit against NewJeans’ Danielle, after the court rejected a request to reschedule an upcoming hearing.
Recent case records show that a preparatory hearing originally set for March 26 at 10:00 AM had been moved to April 30. However, the court has now dismissed that change, meaning the hearing will go ahead as originally scheduled.

This type of hearing, known as a preparatory hearing, is not a final trial. It is an early-stage session where both sides organize their arguments, clarify key issues, and submit evidence before the main proceedings.

The records also show continued activity from both sides. Danielle’s side submitted a preparatory brief and a procedural opinion, while ADOR filed the request to change the hearing date. A third-party petition was also submitted.
The case remains in its early stages, with no ruling made yet.

In December 2025, ADOR terminated Danielle’s exclusive contract and filed a lawsuit seeking tens of millions in damages against her, a family member, and Min Hee Jin. The company alleged contract violations and claimed the parties were responsible for causing the dispute and disrupting the group’s activities.
