On March 21, BTS (RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook) held their highly anticipated comeback show BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG, marking their first full-group return in nearly four years.

From early morning, Gwanghwamun was already packed with fans from around the world, along with citizens, volunteers, and police. Nearby subway stations such as Gwanghwamun, City Hall, and Gyeongbokgung even skipped stops due to overcrowding, highlighting the scale of the event.

Security was equally intense. Entry into the main area required metal detector checks and full-body inspections, similar to airport-level screening, with over 30 gates set up to ensure safety.
But beyond the logistics and crowd size, what truly stood out were the deeply personal stories shared by fans.

A 25-year-old fan from Bolivia broke down in tears during an interview, revealing how BTS had changed her life.
“BTS is my whole life,” she said through tears. “A few years ago, I was going through something really difficult and had bad thoughts… but BTS saved me. They are very special to me.”

Fans from across the globe echoed similar sentiments.
An Indonesian fan shared her excitement about seeing BTS perform in such a historic location, while a French fan living in Seoul said she couldn’t wait to see the group perform together again, especially highlighting her admiration for Jungkook’s passion.

Another fan from Australia revealed she had flown to Korea for the very first time just to attend the event.
“I booked my flight as soon as I heard about the concert,” she said. “BTS made me fall in love with K-pop, and now I’m also curious about Korean culture.”

Even fans who couldn’t secure tickets gathered nearby, wearing custom outfits inspired by the album ARIRANG and hoping to experience the moment from afar.

Ahead of the performance, BTS members also shared their thoughts.
Jimin admitted feeling both excitement and nerves, while V said, “We prepared thoroughly and practiced every day. I just hope we can finish the stage safely.”
Jungkook added, “I’m excited and nervous at the same time. I want to create a stage without regrets and enjoy it together.”
Meanwhile, RM revealed he had sustained a minor injury during rehearsals but promised to do his best within his condition.
With their album ARIRANG already selling 3.98 million copies on its first day, BTS once again proved their global impact—not only through record-breaking numbers, but through the real, emotional connection they share with fans worldwide.
