“When my mother, who meant everything to me, passed away two years ago, BTS’s song ‘Spring Day’ helped me overcome the grief.”
Yuna (25), a Belgian fan who has been part of the ARMY for 14 years, shared this in a recent written interview. Currently working as a model in Korea, she has supported BTS since their debut in 2013, when she was just 12 years old.

She explained, “‘Spring Day’ has lyrics about enduring the cold winter until spring comes again. When I was overwhelmed with grief after losing my mother, those words brought me immense comfort.” The song Spring Day has long been known among fans for its emotional message about longing and healing.

It was also BTS that led her to leave her hometown in Belgium and settle in Korea. Yuna said, “As soon as I became an adult in 2019, I booked a flight to Korea. After visiting more than ten times, I decided to make it my home.”
One of her favorite hobbies since moving has been visiting “BTS landmarks” across the country. Among them, Busan remains the most memorable. “I’ve visited Busan, the hometown of Jungkook and Jimin, multiple times,” she said. “I still keep photos I took in front of the mural featuring their faces at Gamcheon Culture Village.”
Her favorite member is Jungkook. She recalled, “I vividly remember crying while watching his showcase when he released his first solo album. I truly admire his passion and dedication to achieving his dreams.” Jungkook released his debut solo album GOLDEN in November 2023, achieving major success including a No.3 ranking on the UK charts.

Yuna is also set to attend BTS’s comeback performance at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on March 21. “I’ve been counting down the days, knowing I’ll finally see all seven members perform together again after 3 years and 9 months,” she said excitedly.
When asked what she would like to say to Jungkook, she shared a heartfelt message: “Jungkook! The big day has finally come. I’m so excited that BTS is back together with a new album. It must feel both thrilling and nerve-wracking, but I truly believe you’ll do an amazing job!”
