101 trainees competed for the chance to debut in the final group, with eleven being selected as members of I.O.I. The group saw great popularity during their activities, which only lasted 11 months, and ended with their disbandment.
Over the years, fans have hoped for a reunion, but aligning the schedules of 11 different stars proved very difficult. 2026 marks the group’s 10th anniversary, and they have announced their reunion to release a new album, along with a multi-date tour set to begin in May.
With the return to activities and an entirely new world of promoting a decade later, the group have created new accounts on social media, including on Instagram.
However, it was recently discovered that the group’s Instagram account no longer followed Kang Mina.
Mina is one of two members not participating in the comeback, yet the account still follows Kyulkyung, which led to the alleged unfollow gaining attention.
