On the March 11 broadcast of the MBC variety show Radio Star, a special episode titled “So Multi-Talented!” featured guests including Jin Seo-yeon, Keum Sae Rok, Joo Jong-hyuk, and Kwak Beom.
During the show, Keum Sae Rok talked about what she called her “part-time job king” days before debut, sharing stories about the many different jobs she had taken on.
She revealed that she had worked at several places, including an H&B store, a movie theater, cafés, and even wedding expos. In particular, she impressed everyone by saying that while working at a cinema, she ranked first in membership card registrations for eight consecutive months.

The actress also surprised viewers by sharing that she was the very first part-time employee at a shaved ice shop run by comedian Yoo Sang Moo. Recalling that time, Keum Sae Rok said, “The owner Yoo Sang Moo once went to an expo and I followed along. That’s when senior comedian Yoo Se-yoon came by.”
She continued with a humorous story, explaining that she was later “scouted” to work at a shop run by actor Kim Soo-ro after being offered a wage that was 1,000 won higher than what she earned at Yoo Sang Moo’s store.

Keum Sae Rok also shared her experience working at wedding expos, where she said her rate of securing preliminary contracts was even higher than that of full-time employees. She added that even after she debuted as an actress, the owner of a hanbok shop she once worked with continued contacting her because of her impressive sales performance.
Meanwhile, Keum Sae Rok officially debuted in 2015 through the film The Silenced. She later strengthened her acting career by appearing in popular dramas such as The Fiery Priest, The Interest of Love, and Iron Family.
Last year, she also made a strong impression on viewers in the variety program Iron Girls 2, where she challenged herself with boxing and showed her determination to push beyond her limits.
