On March 3, the Women and Children’s Crime Investigation Division of the Seoul Western District Prosecutors’ Office announced that a Brazilian woman in her 30s, identified as A, was indicted on February 27 on charges of violating South Korea’s Anti-Stalking Act and trespassing.
According to prosecutors, A is accused of visiting Jungkook’s home in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, approximately 20 times between December last year and January this year. She allegedly rang the doorbell repeatedly, left mail at the residence, and even hung photographs on the railing. Some reports further stated that she engaged in intimidating behavior, including persistently pressing the doorbell multiple times.

During the prosecution’s investigation, A reportedly stated that her actions were motivated by “love for Jungkook.” However, authorities determined that the acts were continuous and repetitive in nature, meeting the legal criteria for stalking under Korean law.
A was initially caught in the act and arrested for trespassing in December 2025 but was later released. Despite this, she allegedly approached Jungkook’s residence again. Police had issued a restraining order prohibiting her from coming within 100 meters of the property. When she violated the restriction and attempted to approach the residence once more, she was arrested and referred to prosecutors on February 19.
It has been reported that an attempted trespassing charge was dismissed due to insufficient evidence. Nonetheless, the stalking and trespassing charges have moved forward, and the suspect will stand trial while in custody.
