A recent moment between B.I and Jay of iKON has gone viral, stirring a wave of mixed emotions among fans.
When iKON debuted in 2015 under YG Entertainment, the group consisted of seven members: Jay (Jinhwan), Song, Bobby, DK, Ju-ne, Chan, and leader B.I. However, following controversies in 2019, B.I departed from the group, and iKON continued promotions as a six-member act. Since then, public interactions between B.I and the members have been rare, fueling speculation about their relationship.
Fans were recently given what many described as a “healing moment” during B.I’s ongoing The Last Parade tour. As he prepares for his military enlistment, B.I held encore concerts, including a performance in Seoul on March 1.

During the show, attendees noticed that Jay was seated on the second floor of the venue. Mid-performance, B.I spotted him in the audience and waved. Jay responded by waving back and shouting, “B.I, fighting!”
Although there have been subtle mentions of each other in the past, this marked one of the most direct public interactions between the two idols since B.I’s departure in 2019. The brief exchange quickly spread across social media platforms, with clips amassing hundreds of thousands of views.
Many fans expressed emotional reactions, especially longtime iKONICs — iKON’s official fan club — who felt the interaction symbolized reconciliation or at least mutual support. Screenshots of fans in tears and comments such as “My heart is healed” circulated widely online.

However, reactions were not entirely unanimous. While some celebrated the moment as a sign of maturity and growth, others expressed lingering sadness over the group’s past and the circumstances surrounding B.I’s exit.
With B.I’s enlistment approaching, the interaction felt particularly meaningful to fans who have followed both his solo journey and iKON’s continued activities. Though brief, the exchange between B.I and Jay reignited conversations about the group’s history and left many reflecting on how far both artists have come since 2019.
