Actress Jun Ji Hyun (also known as Gianna Jun) has purchased two buildings in Seoul’s Seongdong-gu district for a combined ₩46.8 billion KRW (about $32.5 million USD).
According to court registry records on February 27, 2026 (KST), the actress bought two properties in Seongsu-dong last September. One is a five-story building (one basement level to five above ground), purchased for ₩18.6 billion KRW (about $12.9 million USD). The other is a three-story building (ground level to third floor), acquired for ₩26.0 billion KRW (about $18.1 million USD). She also purchased a parcel of land located between the two buildings for ₩2.20 billion KRW (about $1.53 million USD), bringing the total acquisition cost to ₩46.8 billion KRW (about $32.5 million USD).
On February 23, Jun Ji Hyun completed the final payment and officially transferred ownership. A maximum debt claim of ₩33.6 billion KRW (about $23.3 million USD)was registered on the properties. Given that such claims are typically set at about 120% of the actual loan amount, the principal loan is estimated to be around ₩28.0 billion KRW (about $19.4 million USD).
The buildings are located in the upper section of Seongsu’s “Atelier Street.” Unlike nearby Yeonmujang-gil, where rents have already surged sharply, the area is considered to have additional room for future value growth.
Jun Ji Hyun is known to own multiple real estate assets across Seoul. In 2023, she purchased a duplex penthouse in Acro Seoul Forest for ₩13.0 billion KRW (about $9.03 million USD) in cash. In 2022, she acquired a commercial building in Deungchon-dong, Gangseo-gu, for ₩50.5 billion KRW (about $35.1 million USD). She also owns commercial properties in Ichon-dong, Yongsan-gu and Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu.
With this latest acquisition, Jun Ji Hyun now owns five commercial properties. The combined value of her commercial real estate holdings is estimated to approach ₩150 billion KRW (about $104 million USD).
Between a real estate empire worth billions and a figure that still turns heads, Jun Ji Hyun continues to redefine what it means to truly have it all.
