Former boy group Dalmatian (also known as DMTN) member and girl group XG producer JAKOPS (also known as SIMON) was arrested in Japan on charges of drug possession.

On the 23rd, a representative from XGLAX told Star News, “We are currently confirming the situation.”
According to Japanese media such as TBS, JAKOPS and three others were caught red-handed violating Japan’s drug control law at a hotel in Aichi Prefecture.
JAKOPS, who was at XG’s Nagoya concert, was reportedly in possession of cocaine and marijuana at the time of arrest. Japanese police are investigating how and where they obtained the drugs.
Born to a Korean father and Japanese mother, JAKOPS debuted as a member of boy group Dalmatian in 2012. He later worked as a producer, founded the label XGLAX, and debuted XG.
