On February 12, a new video titled “Asking Song Ji Hyo About Childcare” was uploaded to her official YouTube channel, Song Ji Hyo JIHYO SSONG. In the episode, the 44-year-old actress spent a full day caring for a friend’s three children.
After visiting her friend’s house the day before to learn the routine, Song Ji Hyo began her babysitting duties by carefully reviewing a handwritten “mom guideline” posted on the refrigerator. She successfully sent the two older children to daycare before focusing on caring for the youngest child, Kim Ibeun.
While feeding formula, Song Ji Hyo confidently shared, “I actually have childcare experience. I raised my second and third siblings, so I can handle dirty diapers and bath time.”
Her words were soon backed up by action. When it was time to change the baby’s diaper, she skillfully brought the child to the sink, cleaned them up, and put on a fresh diaper with ease. Laughing, she added, “I practically raised my younger siblings. Back then, we did everything on the floor, but these days there are so many helpful baby products.”
After a full day of babysitting, Song Ji Hyo admitted she would likely “sleep very well” that night, expressing heartfelt gratitude to mothers everywhere for their hard work raising children.
Born in 1981, Song Ji Hyo is the eldest of three siblings, with one younger sister and one younger brother. Her candid and down-to-earth moment once again showcased a different, relatable side of the beloved actress.
