On February 10, multiple music industry insiders revealed that Cortis has finalized plans to return with a new album in April and is currently deep into preparations. This marks the group’s first comeback since debuting in September last year.
Cortis drew massive attention from the moment it was launched as Big Hit Music’s first new boy group in six years, following the success of BTS and TXT. Branded as a “young creator crew,” all members actively participate in creating their own music, choreography, and visual content, quickly establishing themselves as a fully prepared rookie group.

Their debut album COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES became an instant million-seller, surpassing 1.5 million copies in cumulative sales. The group swept major rookie awards, including honors at the 40th Golden Disc Awards, earning the title of “Best Rookie of 2025.”
Cortis also achieved remarkable global success with its debut, surpassing 300 million cumulative streams on Spotify and debuting at No.15 on the Billboard 200, solidifying its status as a global hitmaker. With this upcoming release being their first comeback, expectations are especially high. The members have also consistently hinted at new music through their social media channels.
Even during their non-promotional period, Cortis maintained strong momentum. The group is set to headline the NBA Crossover Concert in Los Angeles on February 12 (local time), becoming the first K-pop artist to do so. Their growing global profile has also attracted significant attention from the advertising industry.
