On January 30, 2026, BTS’s agency BigHit Music officially announced that the group had received Platinum certification for Yet To Come and Gold certification for Love Maze. According to RIAJ data, Yet To Come surpassed 100 million streams, while Love Maze exceeded 50 million streams in Japan as of December 2025.
With this achievement, BTS now boasts an impressive total of 16 Platinum-certified songs and 48 Gold-certified songs for streaming in Japan. These numbers further strengthen the group’s status as one of the most successful K-pop acts ever in the Japanese music industry.

RIAJ grants streaming certifications based on cumulative streams within Japan, using clear benchmarks:
- Gold: 50 million streams
- Platinum: 100 million streams
- Diamond: 500 million streams
These milestones are updated monthly and reflect sustained listener engagement rather than short-term chart performance, highlighting the long-term appeal of an artist’s music.
Released in 2022, Yet To Come served as the title track of Proof, BTS’s anthology album celebrating the group’s career journey through 48 songs. Meanwhile, Love Maze, one of the 11 tracks from their 2018 studio album Love Yourself: Tear, remains a fan favorite from one of the group’s most defining eras. The fact that songs released years apart are still earning certifications underscores the enduring resonance of BTS’s discography and the unwavering support of their Japanese fanbase, ARMY.

Previously, in 2025, The Truth Untold (featuring Steve Aoki) also earned Gold certification, pushing BTS to a then-record 47 Gold-certified tracks —the highest number ever achieved by a K-pop group in Japan.
Japan remains one of the largest music markets in the world, where both physical sales and digital streaming are fiercely competitive. RIAJ certifications are widely regarded as a key indicator of an artist’s lasting popularity and cultural impact. BTS’s continued success in earning these accolades reflects not only chart power, but also deep-rooted public recognition and loyalty over time.
The latest milestone also builds excitement ahead of BTS’s highly anticipated return to the stage with the ARIRANG World Tour, set to begin in April 2026. The tour will kick off with three nights at Goyang Stadium in South Korea, followed by two shows at Tokyo Dome on April 17–18, before continuing across North America, Europe, the UK, and other regions.
With record-breaking certifications and a global tour on the horizon, BTS is entering its comeback era with remarkable momentum—once again proving its unshakable position on the global music map, especially in Japan, where the group has built a legacy few can rival.
