Appearing on a video uploaded to the KBS Kpop YouTube channel on January 29, Yuqi addressed a fan’s question about who usually “wins” when she and Miyeon argue, saying, “We don’t have a winner. That’s not how we see it.” Miyeon echoed her sentiment, explaining, “We always try to find a middle ground, but since everyone is so different, it can take a really long time.”
Miyeon went on to recall a particularly intense moment from the past, admitting, “There was a time when I was arguing with Yuqi and got so dizzy that I said, ‘I’m sorry, but I need to step outside.’” Her comment drew laughter while highlighting just how seriously the two take resolving issues.

Another member, Minnie, shared how advice from Shuhua helped change the group’s dynamic. “When Shuhua appeared before, she said that fighting can actually be a good thing,” Minnie said. “After hearing that, I told the members, ‘From now on, let’s not talk around things. If something’s wrong, let’s just say it.’” She added, “Once we started being honest, things really got better. We became closer because of it.”

Yuqi also explained her approach to conflict, saying, “I’m not the type to carry things over to the next day.” She emphasized, “If you want a relationship to last a long time, you have to be honest.” Miyeon agreed, admitting, “Apologizing is honestly awkward,” but stressed, “If you want to say sorry, you have to be sincere about it.”
Since debuting in 2018, i-dle has released numerous hit songs including Tomboy, Queencard, Oh My God, and Hwaa. The group recently returned with their new digital single “Mono” on January 27, receiving praise for its strong melody and heartfelt message.
