On January 23, Ilgan Sports reported that Park Na Rae was seen on January 21 outside a makgeolli brewing technology academy in downtown Seoul. She arrived with a male acquaintance and briefly spoke to reporters, explaining, “I’m here for class. It’s starting soon, so I need to go in,” and added, “I thought I should do something—anything.” She reportedly attended class for about an hour and a half before heading home.
Since the controversy surrounding her former management, Park Na Rae is currently without an official manager. As a result, she has been accompanied by a trusted male acquaintance who has been helping her handle work-related matters. Descriptions of the man—around 180cm tall, with a neat and striking appearance—fueled curiosity and rumors online.

Speaking to the outlet, the man shared insight into Park Na Rae’s current state, saying she is emotionally struggling and carefully chose a learning environment where she could focus and find some relief. “She needed a place to concentrate and reset emotionally,” he explained, noting that the class was selected after thoughtful consideration.
As speculation grew, some suggested the two might be romantically involved. However, a source close to Park Na Rae firmly denied the rumors, telling Xports News, “He is not her boyfriend. He is a personal manager who is helping her with work.”

Park Na Rae has been embroiled in a legal dispute with her former managers since November of last year. The conflict escalated after they announced plans to file a damages lawsuit and sought provisional seizure of property. The former managers have alleged workplace harassment, proxy prescriptions, and unpaid production expenses during their tenure.
In response, Park Na Rae has countersued, accusing them of attempted extortion and embezzlement, asserting that they demanded large sums based on false claims. As the legal battle continues, Park Na Rae appears to be focusing on recovery and self-care.
