On the January 16 broadcast of KBS1’s morning program AM Plaza, Choi Yeo Jin appeared as a guest on the segment “Happy Friday Double-Double Party,” alongside singer Han Kang and Choon Gil, comedian Jo Hye Ryun, and National Singing Contest band members Shin Jae Dong and Jang Jae Bong.
During the show, the host mentioned that Choi Yeo Jin’s wedding had been widely talked about. In response, she recalled, “I held my wedding at the Bukhan River. It was quite unusual in Korea, but we held the ceremony on the country’s first electric-powered cruise ship.” She added with a laugh, “Jo Hye Ryun completely turned the place upside down with ‘Anakkana.’”
When asked how she was enjoying her newlywed life, Choi Yeo Jin smiled brightly and replied, “I’m always happy.”

She went on to surprise viewers by sharing her current living situation. “It feels like I’m traveling every single day,” she said. “We’re in the process of building our house, so I jokingly say that I’ve become ‘homeless.’ Since we don’t have a house yet, we’re living in a caravan and a tent but I’m enjoying it like a daily trip.”
Her comment drew laughter in the studio, especially when Jo Hye Ryun jokingly asked if she had showered before coming on the show. Choi Yeo Jin responded playfully, “Of course,” pretending to sniff herself and asking, “Do I smell?”
Choi Yeo Jin married sports entrepreneur Kim Jae Wook in June last year, holding a cruise wedding in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province. Their unique ceremony had already drawn attention for its unconventional setting.
Previously, Choi Yeo Jin also made headlines after appearing on SBS’s Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny in March last year, where she revealed a video call with Kim Jae Wook’s ex-wife. At the time, the ex-wife addressed online rumors alleging an affair, clarifying that the couple met only after her divorce was finalized and expressing her support for their relationship.
Despite past controversies, Choi Yeo Jin appears to be embracing her newlywed life with positivity finding joy even in a caravan and tent while waiting for her new home to be completed.
