On January 10, BLACKPINK’s Jennie took home three major awards at the 40th Golden Disc Awards with Upbit, held at the iconic Taipei Dome — the first K-pop awards show ever hosted at the venue.
Jennie was honored with the Digital Song Division Bonsang (Main Prize) for her solo achievements, a Bonsang with BLACKPINK, and the Global Impact Award (PRIZM), marking an impressive triple win in one evening.

In her solo acceptance speech, Jennie beamed as she said, “It’s been such a long time since I last attended the Golden Disc Awards, so I’m truly grateful to receive this. I want to thank so many people, especially our fans.”
Later, when receiving the group award on behalf of BLACKPINK, Jennie looked out into the crowd and warmly asked, “Are you watching, Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa?” She continued, “We received so much love for our song ‘Ddu-du,’ and I’m just really happy.”

Although she was the only BLACKPINK member present, Jennie made sure to include her fellow members in the moment: “Even though they’re not here, I know they’re happy too. I’ll accept this award on behalf of all of us,” she said, before thanking longtime producer Teddy as well.
Adding to the night’s spectacle, Jennie returned to the stage once again to accept the Word PRIZM Global Impact Award, sealing her triple crown win.
Other K-pop powerhouses like IVE, LE SSERAFIM, Stray Kids, ATEEZ, BOYNEXTDOOR, ENHYPEN, and ZEROBASEONE were also in attendance, making this year’s Golden Disc Awards an unforgettable celebration. Celebrities like Song Joong Ki, Byun Woo Seok, and Ahn Hyo Seop also graced the stage as presenters, amplifying the star-studded energy of the event.
