Recently, a video was shared on an online community with the caption “Lee Hyori’s yoga studio that gives everything away,” quickly drawing attention.
In the video, Lee Hyori is seen handing out manggae rice cakes, Jeju tangerines, and yoga socks to people attending a yoga class. The netizen who posted the clip wrote, “I receive so much. Even the photos turn out amazing… I should go again next month,” expressing affection for Lee Hyori’s yoga studio.
Many online users reacted positively, leaving comments such as “That looks amazing,” “Even a one‑day class would be worth it,” “You can really feel the sincerity,” “Giving everything away is so cool,” and “This feels so Lee Hyori‑like.” The warm and welcoming atmosphere quickly became a talking point.

However, Lee Hyori stepped in to correct what she said was a misunderstanding. She clarified, “The rice cakes, tangerines, and socks in the video were all given by the Ananda Yoga members. They’re not from me.” In fact, even in the video itself, Lee can be heard explaining that the items were brought by another instructor.
It appears Lee Hyori chose to speak up to prevent any false impressions that the yoga studio was officially providing or promoting giveaways. Instead, the items were gifts shared among teachers and students, reflecting a communal and friendly environment rather than an organized promotion.
Following the viral video and Lee Hyori’s clarification, public interest in her yoga studio already drawing attention since its opening is expected to grow even further.
Lee Hyori married singer Lee Sang Soon in 2013 and lived in Jeju Island for many years. In 2024, she returned to Seoul and opened a yoga studio in Seodaemun District, where she personally leads classes, continuing to draw admiration for her down‑to‑earth lifestyle and sincerity.
