The 2025 SBS Entertainment Awards delivered an emotional moment as Jung Eun-hye, who appeared on Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny, revealed that she has legally changed her surname to her stepfather’s, now going by the name Seo Eun-hye.
The ceremony was held on December 30 at the SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Seoul, with Jun Hyun-moo, Cha Tae-hyun, and Lee Soo-ji serving as hosts. During the event, Jung Eun-hye and her husband Jo Young-nam, a couple known for their appearance on Same Bed, Different Dreams 2, received the Good Influence Award for their heartfelt and inspiring story.
Dressed in a tuxedo and gown, the couple took the stage to accept the honor. Jung Eun-hye opened her speech by sharing unexpected but joyful news, saying, “I’m not Jung Eun-hye anymore, I’m writer Seo Eun-hye. I mentioned on Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 that I wanted to change my surname, and the court officially approved it.”
She continued, “ Through Same Bed, Different Dreams 2, I was grateful that we could show that people with developmental disabilities can also have married lives.” Expressing gratitude to her parents, she added, “Mom and Dad, thank you for raising me so well. Eun-baek, live your own life. As a couple, we’ll continue to work, love each other, and live healthily until we’re 100.”

Her heartfelt words deeply moved the audience, with actress Song Ji-hyo, a fellow cast member on Same Bed, Different Dreams 2, visibly shedding tears during the speech.
Jo Young-nam kept his remarks brief but sincere, stating, “We will live happily together for the rest of our lives.”

Jung Eun-hye’s announcement, paired with her couple’s sincere acceptance speech, stood out as one of the most touching moments of the night, highlighting the true meaning behind the Good Influence Award at the 2025 SBS Entertainment Awards.
