SBS uploaded stages from SBS Gayo Daejeon 2025 on its two YouTube channels, SBS Entertainment and SBSKPOP X INKIGAYO. Among them, LE SSERAFIM’s performance of “SPAGHETTI” quickly became one of the most-viewed stages. However, fans expressed strong dissatisfaction after noticing that the thumbnail on the SBSKPOP X INKIGAYO channel had been edited.
In the thumbnail, Eunchae is seen making a heart gesture with drag queen Kyam, who appeared during the performance. While Eunchae remains visible, Kyam’s face was noticeably removed. Because Kyam was standing extremely close to Eunchae, fans argue this could not have been the result of simple cropping or resizing. Instead, they believe SBS deliberately edited Kyam out of the image.

International fans voiced their anger on X (formerly Twitter), accusing SBS of disrespecting drag performers and discriminating against LGBTQ+ individuals.
Comments included:
- “They did it on purpose. It’s obvious.”
- “There were countless moments in a four-minute performance they could’ve chosen for the thumbnail if they didn’t want drag queens in it, since the drag performers only appear near the end. But instead, SBS deliberately chose a beautiful shot of Eunchae and erased the drag queen next to her.”
- “It’s so frustrating and they didn’t even bother to edit it properly.”
- “The stage was getting such good reactions until people saw this thumbnail.”

As criticism continues to intensify across social media platforms, SBS has yet to issue any response or explanation. As of more than 21 hours after upload, the thumbnail for LE SSERAFIM’s SBS Gayo Daejeon 2025 stage remains unchanged and has surpassed 500,000 views on the SBSKPOP X INKIGAYO channel, further fueling public outrage.
The incident has reignited conversations about representation, inclusivity, and the responsibility of major broadcasters in handling LGBTQ+ visibility in mainstream media.
