According to industry sources on December 19, The Practical Guide to Love has officially been added to JTBC’s Saturday-Sunday lineup, taking the slot after the conclusion of Surely Tomorrow in mid-January. The timing of the premiere was carefully chosen to avoid schedule interruptions due to the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, which will run from February 6 to 22. By launching the drama after the Olympics, JTBC ensures a smooth broadcast schedule without preemptions.
The series stars Han Ji Min as Lee Eui Young, a woman who has decided to pursue love seriously. On a blind date, she encounters two very different men—Song Tae Seop, played by Park Sung Hoon, and Shin Ji Soo, portrayed by Lee Ki Taek. As she finds herself drawn to both, her journey becomes a heartfelt exploration of what true love really means.

The Practical Guide to Love is adapted from a widely loved webtoon of the same name. With its relatable themes and a cast led by the acclaimed Han Ji Min, the drama is already generating buzz as one of the most anticipated K-dramas of early 2026.
As JTBC continues to build momentum with its weekend drama slate, viewers are eager to see if The Practical Guide to Love can follow in the successful footsteps of the network’s recent hits and capture the hearts of audiences in the new year.
