In a rare and humorous gesture, Lee Byung Hun officially dropped the infamous blur filter on his face to celebrate a major milestone for his wife Lee Min Jung’s YouTube channel, MJ. On December 15, a short video titled “A congratulatory video from overseas (Not AI)” was uploaded, delighting fans.
Previously, Lee Min Jung had promised to keep her husband’s face blurred in all her videos until she reached 500K subscribers. Staying true to the promise, Lee Byung Hun had remained pixelated in previous appearances, adding a quirky charm that viewers enjoyed.
In the newly released video, Lee Byung Hun greeted fans with a cheeky intro before finally revealing his face, saying, “Now that the blur is gone, I’m here with full hair and makeup.” He went on to share warm wishes for the continued success of MJ YouTube, adding, “I hope MJ YouTube continues to bring joy to many people. Fighting!”
The moment sparked a flurry of reactions online. Fans commented, “He’s finally here!” and “I kind of miss the blur now,” with others jokingly threatening to “subscribe again now that the blur is gone.”

Lee Min Jung, reflecting on the journey, thanked subscribers for their support over the past eight months. She humbly shared, “Our PDs said it would be amazing if we hit 500K by the end of the year, and it actually happened. Thank you so much!”
Regarding the “blur reveal,” Lee Min Jung noted that despite her promise, Lee Byung Hun’s portrait rights took precedence. “We agreed that he could decide when to reveal his face, and this felt like the right time,” she explained.

She concluded with a heartfelt message: “Please stay warm this winter, enjoy the holidays, and look forward to more fun and healing content on MJ!”
