In a heartwarming and humorous appearance on Moon Sang-hoon’s YouTube channel ‘BDNS’ , Bailey, a member of rising K-pop group Allday Project, gave fans a glimpse into her childhood that sharply contrasts with her current image as a confident performer.
The video, titled “Allday Project Bailey and Waiting for Rihanna’s DM Reply”, featured Bailey candidly discussing her early years filled with rigorous training and a surprising career path she almost took.
“My parents wanted me to learn both social and individual activities. That’s why I did dancing and golf,” Bailey explained.
From the age of two to ten, her schedule was nothing short of intense. She recalled waking up at 5 or 6 a.m. daily, going to school, then attending dance practice from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., followed by golf training immediately afterward.
“I had originally chosen golf,” she confessed. “But I loved music too much. In the end, I returned to hip-hop music, which shaped who I am today.”
The revelation came as a surprise to many fans, who found it difficult to imagine the energetic idol on a golf course. Comments poured in with praise and playful relief: “I can’t even imagine Bailey playing golf,” “Thank you for choosing music,” and “We almost lost a K-pop talent to golf.”

Adding a touch of humor and charm to the interview, Bailey also revealed that she once sent a direct message to Rihanna and is still waiting for a reply.
“She hasn’t seen my message yet… but I believe someday she will!” she smiled, capturing hearts with her down-to-earth attitude.

Bailey’s dual passion for discipline and creativity—whether on the golf green or the dance floor—has clearly played a role in her artistry today. As fans continue to learn more about her past, her journey becomes an even more compelling part of her K-pop narrative.
