In what’s being hailed as the most anticipated royal event of the year, Princess Pongsoriya Norodom, granddaughter of Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni, dazzled Phnom Penh with a majestic wedding that gracefully fused royal tradition and modern sophistication.
At just 28, the princess — daughter of Prince Norodom Chakrapong — is recognized as a vibrant Gen Z figure in Cambodian royalty, known for her active social media presence and dynamic public image.
Her groom, Seav Chhuon Ing, is no less prominent. Heir to Daun Penh Trading, the parent company of the popular bottled water brand Provida, he was named one of Cambodia’s “40 under 40” most influential people by Prestige Online Cambodia. He represents a new generation of business leaders reshaping the country’s economic future.

According to South China Morning Post, the princess studied at the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing and was once a brand ambassador for Xiaomi. Her husband, meanwhile, is set to lead one of Cambodia’s top beverage companies.
The royal ceremony was nothing short of spectacular. As HOLA! reported, it followed multiple stages: a pre-wedding soirée, a traditional blessing, and a Western-style gala — each element meticulously designed to reflect the couple’s heritage and modern sensibilities.
Princess Pongsoriya stunned in a custom-made silk gown by SOKNAN Atelier, intricately embroidered with traditional Khmer motifs and crowned with a dazzling diamond tiara. For the Western-themed reception, she changed into a white feathered dress inspired by 1920s fashion, designed by Atelier Nhem.

She also showcased a variety of Khmer ceremonial outfits, paired with heirloom jewelry representing royal lineage and tradition. Every appearance cemented her as both a style icon and a cultural figurehead.
The most heartwarming moment came during the first dance, not with her husband, but with her father, Prince Chakrapong — a tribute that moved guests to tears. The couple’s towering wedding cake, crafted by famed artist Siso, was adorned with seasonal berries and styled after classic royal pâtisserie.
Adding even more grandeur, King Norodom Sihamoni himself graced the ceremony to offer his blessings, marking an unforgettable moment of tradition and familial honor.
As Cambodia celebrates this fusion of regal legacy and modern elegance, the wedding of Princess Pongsoriya and Seav Chhuon Ing stands as a testament to a new era of royal relevance — one that honors the past while embracing the future.
