On the second night of the ceremony, aespa delivered powerful stages of their 2025 hits “Dirty Work” and “Rich Man.” Winter opened the performance alone on a raised platform, holding a guitar as part of the theatrical intro. But only seconds into her solo moment, an unexpected accident occurred.
While striking the guitar for a dramatic effect, several metallic-looking spikes attached to the prop reportedly snapped off causing a painful cut on her hand. Because the accident happened at the very beginning of the stage, Winter was forced to continue performing despite the injury.
Fans noticed her repeatedly glancing down at her hand, wincing subtly, and adjusting her movements to avoid aggravating the wound.
Even after the stage, Winter was seen carefully holding her hand while aespa waited to receive their awards, including “Best Choreography” and “Best Female Group.”
