He has addressed the rumors.
An actor has addressed the viral rumors about his 18-year-old son and is in the process of taking legal action.

Zhang Li Ang (also known as Sean Zhang) began his career as a chef. He later transitioned to modeling and made his acting debut in the early 2010s. He and his now ex-wife Kou Jing married in 2005 and had two children before they filed for divorce in 2017. Their 18-year-old son Zhang Yue Xuan (also known as Tian Tian) was born in 2007, and their 10-year-old daughter Zhang Xue Yi was born in 2015.

On November 27, a post on Chinese social media reportedly accused a celebrity’s son of serious misconduct. It claimed that a “celebrity father who sells malatang opened a restaurant chain and later sent his troublesome son abroad, where he reportedly caused issues for his schoolmates.” Though neither Zhang nor Tian Tian were named, netizens linked both to the post.

According to Zhang and his management, the claims are “baseless” and have severely impacted the Zhang family’s name as well as their legal rights. Zhang urged the public not to spread unverified stories, and his management has vowed to take legal action against accounts that spread false rumors online.
The police are officially involved. The online space is not a place without rules. Please stop spreading baseless claims.
