Recently, the Japanese Autism Association announced that many donations from BTS fans had been received, noting that part of these contributions were utilized during the Osaka Expo.
The association stated, “HYBE JAPAN’s BTS promotion team was informed that a portion of the donations from Suga’s fans would be used at the Osaka Expo, and we received warm support.”

The organization added, “Through this support, we will continue our efforts to raise awareness and understanding of autism spectrum disorders.”
Following the news that Suga’s 500 million KRW donation led to the establishment of a treatment center for children with autism spectrum disorders, fans were eager to contribute. Donations exceeded ¥1.5 million, accompanied by messages such as “We are glad that this warm heart spreads widely” and “We definitely want to help.” The association noted that these contributions not only supported its work but also helped raise public awareness about autism spectrum disorders in Japan.

Earlier in June, Suga donated ₩5 Billion KRW to Severance Children’s Hospital, which led to the opening of the Min Yoon-gi Treatment Center in September. Since late last year, Suga has personally engaged with children with autism spectrum disorders, offering music volunteering sessions and guitar performances.
This philanthropic spirit has evidently inspired his fans in Japan, creating a ripple effect of generosity and awareness.
