In the November 27 video on her YouTube channel “Lee Min-jung MJ,” the actress shared, “Today, we’re stopping by Jun-hoo’s grandmother’s house first, and then heading to the Paul Friends café run by Ji-an unnie.”
During their car ride, Lee Min-jung brought up a special story involving world-renowned director Park Chan-wook. “You know Director Park Chan-wook, right? The one who worked with your dad on. Back during, he tried my mom’s kimchi gimbap and said, ‘Don’t you want to start a business with this? Byung-hun can open the first store, and I’ll open the second.’ That’s why we’re going to learn the recipe today.”
At this, Jun-hoo’s expression immediately hardened. “No! You can’t show the recipe. It’s a secret recipe,” he protested.

When Lee Min-jung jokingly asked, “So only our family can run the business?” he firmly replied, “Yes. It has to stay a secret.”
His sudden display of “10-year-old business philosophy” left Lee Min-jung speechless and laughing.
Once they arrived at Lee Byung-hun’s parents’ home, the actress finally began her kimchi gimbap lesson. She explained, “My husband loves this so much that he learned it from Mom and makes it sometimes. But instead of sharing my version, I want our subscribers to learn the original recipe from her directly.”
Lee Byung-hun’s mother already beloved as the elegant mom who raised both the “nation’s top actor” and Miss Korea (Lee Ji-an) welcomed them warmly and immediately began sharing her cooking secrets.

“Back in the day, anything made with kimchi? I was confident. But you can’t just chop kimchi and mix it in. There’s a separate seasoning process,” she explained.
She then laughed as she revealed, “Jun-hoo told me on his way in: ‘Don’t tell the recipe. Let’s use it for business.’ So maybe I’ll leave out one or two steps when I teach you today.”
She also teased her daughter-in-law with playful humor: “A daughter-in-law shouldn’t get in the way of business, right?” creating a bright and lively atmosphere in the kitchen.
The beloved mother-in-law further teased her viewers by announcing, “Next week on December 2, I’ll finally reveal the full kimchi gimbap recipe.” Fans are already eagerly waiting.
Lee Min-jung married Lee Byung-hun in 2013 and is now a mother of two—son Jun-hoo and daughter Seo-i while continuing to share family and lifestyle content through her growing YouTube channel.
